Kiyosumi Gardens

Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) week in spring may be the best timing to visit Japan.
But it lasts only a week to 10 days unless you follow Sakura frontier from south to north.

Autumn leaves in Japan are also beautiful and last longer.
Since there are several different kind of trees, you can find somewhere to visit.

Tokyo has many good spots to enjoy autumn leaves.
Maybe due to warmer climate, the best season seems to become later.

Probably the best season in Tokyo is late November through early December, but you can  enjoy it in October, too.Temperature gap between summer and autumn makes the color vivid. So it depends on how big the temperature change is in that year.

I'll give you the information about gardens and parks to visit in autumn leaves season in Tokyo.

Kiyosumi Gardens are one of  9 Tokyo Metropolitan Gardens.
This place was owned by Bunzaemon Kinokuniya who was one of the richest fruit merchants in Edo era.

In 1878, Yataro Iwasaki, the founder of Mitsubishi industrial group took over this place to make gardens for his visitors and employees.

This place has a big pond in the center, so you can enjoy walking on stepping stones in the pond and feeding carp.
